High Range Livestock was founded by two best mates who wanted to provide sustainable and organic livestock to their local Butchers and Community.
We are proud of our roots and remain committed to providing high-quality produce and services to our customers.
Our paddocks are lucky enough to house our breeding heifers, steers and calves to our ewes and lambs all free range and loving life with access to fresh fed crystal clear spring fed dams.
High Range Livestock sows seasonally, from deep thick green paddocks of sorghum and millet for the livestock silage in the summer to Rye and Oats in the winter season all whilst keeping our permanent sown rye grass mixed pastures thriving year out.
Our Paddocks are sown organically promoting sustainable agriculture practices.
At High Range Livestock, we believe in the power of partnerships.
We work closely with fellow farmers, agricultural agronomists, and research institutions to promote sustainable agriculture practices and improve food security.
Our supply partners include local family operated butchers with a farm to butcher direct service.
Seasonal sown Rye and Oats are sent to our sister family farm Artemis also in the Southern Highlands for their famous mash Rye Whiskey, and Lager
Artemis also presses and bottles our very own farm grown high altitude Pinot.
